10+ Online Stores for Norfolk State University Alumni Apparel
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) gained a lot of attention from the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement. Many HBCUs reported enrollment growth in 2020, reversing the steady decline in total HBCU enrollment throughout the 2010s. Norfolk State University (NSU) alum who were a part of that trend, like me, may have unique pride in their alma mater. Below are 10 websites for NSU alumni apparel.

BuyANiceShirt.com gets the first spot because its a Black-owned NSU apparel business and open to custom orders. They also manufacture apparel for other HBCUs, Greek organizations, and some high schools. Their catalog includes lounge dresses, masks, and book-bags. Their cardigan-style sweater is beautiful.
Legacy History Pride
Legacy History Pride (LHP) has NSU shirts, sweaters, polos, cardigans, and a soccer jersey. I think they have the most unique designs on this list.
Tones of Melanin
Black-owned and NSU Alumna-owned, Tones of Melanin produces NSU-branded shirts, trucker hats, shorts, tote bags, and a dope looking duffle bag.
CollegiateLuxe
CollegiateLuxe is a Black-owned business with a storefront in Baltimore, Maryland. What sets CollegiateLuxe apart from the others are their denim jackets, crop tops, and jerseys.
Black & Scholared
Black & Scholared, founded by a Howard University graduate, is a Black woman-owned business with elegant sweaters and a poplin shirt. They also have stylish NSU alumni lapel pins.
DICK's Sporting Goods
DICK's Sporting Goods is not a business I'd expect to have NSU apparel. Their Spartan clothing line includes shirts, leggings, basketball jerseys, and hoodies with conservative designs.
Walmart
Another store I didn't think would be on this list is Walmart. Their tops' design are conservative. Their stand-out products: a can cooler and Spartans house flag.
Zazzle
Zazzle sells fanny packs and stuff for graduation celebrations. I can't confirm whether this store is truly operated by NSU faculty and staff.
Lids
Excluding the NSU bookstore, Lids has the most clothing accessories for die-hard NSU alum. They ship NSU-branded cufflinks, money clips, watches, tie-bars, scarves, and baby clothes.
NSU Barnes & Noble Bookstore
The NSU Barnes & Noble Bookstore is an obligatory addition to the list. Norfolk State University Alumni Association (NSUAA) members receive a 10% discount on clothing.
