How to Prepare for Leg Day

DAY BEFORE LEG DAY:

Realize how much life may suck after leg day.

Adjust leg day activities originally set for immediately after leg workout and day(s) after leg day as needed.

Clean out Mangina.


LEG DAY:

Poop in the morning. You may still poot mid-rep on the first working set of squats or leg presses, but that’s okay. You’ll feel better during the workout and that’s one less thing you’ll have to worry about.

Be careful of what you eat before the workout. Dairy and other gas-producing products may need to be off-limits until post-workout.

Go to the gym! No excuses!

Remember Dynamic stretches pre-workout, good form, and static stretches post-workout.

Consider Cardio (HIIT maybe) post-workout to mitigate anticipated soreness.

Eat and take post-workout supps as needed.

Enjoy the fact that you didn’t skip the arguably most important day of the week.
